Expect to visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to over 500 mountain gorillas with several gorilla groups for trekking.

The 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Safari is typically a flying gorilla trekking adventure. Set off from Entebbe Airport to Kihihi or Kisoro and connect to the park by road.

Detailed Itinerary -4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Safari

Day 1: Arrival & Pick up

Get a warm welcome to Uganda by our field driver-guide after you have completed the immigration procedures.

Exit the airport and drive to the pre-booked accommodation in Entebbe for evening relaxation, dinner, & overnight stay.

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi

Have a hefty breakfast at the hotel and later, drive to the Entebbe International Airport.

At the Entebbe Airport, you will take a flight to Kihihi/Kisoro Airstrip. Expect mesmerizing aerial views of Uganda’s unique landscape.

In about 2 hours, you will have landed at Kihihi Airstrip or Kisoro Airport.

From the airstrip, meet our field driver-guide to take you to the park, where you will have lunch and relaxation.

After lunch, you can spend your afternoon on a guided community tour.

Expect to interact with the residents living adjacent to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, learn their lifestyles, unique practices, and more.

Visiting the local community around Bwindi is one incredible way to directly extend support to the residents.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

The day to go to trek mountain gorillas begins with breakfast. After breakfast, you can join the Uganda Wildlife Authority officials for a briefing on the rules to be observed and also choose a gorilla group to visit.

Park ranger guide allocation is done during the morning briefing, a reason it is a must to attend.

The actual adventure into the jungle begins at around 8:00 am, and you can expect to spend between 2 and 6 hours. An hour is set for you to observe and take pictures or record a video of gorillas.

The most memorable moment of your gorilla trekking session is when you come across a silverback gorilla.

Please note that some of the gorillas can come close to you. This shouldn’t worry you, but ensure that you avoid touching them.

After the successful trek with Bwindi gorillas, expect to depart with a certificate.

Later, board your 4×4 car and return to the lodge to relax.

Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, and today, you will also be expected to check out.

Drive out of the lodge and transfer to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip. Take a flight back to EBB and arrive in the afternoon.
